Meet the Candidates – Latrobe Council

KaLIBA invites members of the Latrobe community to join us for a Meet the Candidates forum ahead of the 2026 Latrobe Council election.

This community event is an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking to represent the Latrobe municipality and learn more about their priorities and vision for the region.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear candidates respond to questions about issues that matter to local residents, businesses and communities.

What to expect

The forum will provide an opportunity to:

• Hear directly from participating Latrobe Council candidates

• Learn more about their priorities for the municipality

• Hear discussion about issues affecting our local communities and businesses

• Become better informed ahead of the 2026 local government election

Candidate nominations will be officially announced on Tuesday 22 September. Further information about the event format and participating candidates will be provided once nominations have been confirmed.
